A students response to working with Emily.

Working in Emily's studio was a meditative, creative and centering experience.
I was a beginner and found Emily to be an adept teacher, explaining and modeling
various techniques effortlessly. Every time I came, I felt completely accepted and welcomed
into a spacious and timeless world, free to explore on my own as well as to
ask for Emily's guidance or have a conversation about a process.

With her palpable love for the art, her incredible studio, and her wealth of knowledge and experience,
there seems to be no limit to the depth one could go under her guidance. Emily is continually exploring
and experimenting with new techniques and creative projects and the studio is alive with that energy
of creativity and endless possibilities. I highly recommend working under Emily's exceptional tutelage
in exploring the ceramic arts.
